Il BALLO DELL'OPERA A WASHINGTON

All'ambasciata russa negli USA si è svolto il Ballo dell'Opera, uno degli eventi chiave per il bel mondo che raccoglie a Washington l'elite politica, economica e culturale. Quest'anno nell'ambito dei programmi di beneficenza, gli ospiti hanno contribuito al sostegno dell'Opera nazionale e ai progetti del suo direttore Placido Domingo.

OPERA BALL HELD AT RUSSIAN EMBASSY IN WASHINGTON
The Russian embassy in Washington has played host to one of the city’s main secular events, the Opera Ball. Traditionally the ball is attended by the upper crust of Washington’s political, economic and cultural elite. It is for the first time that the Russian diplomats in the US have hosted the ball, which is a charity event to benefit the Washington National Opera and its director-general Placido Domingo’s artistic quest. Last year and the one before last the Opera Ball was hosted by the embassies of Germany and France respectively.
