Il Festival Musicale Internazionale di Mosca «VREMENA GODA» («ВРЕМЕНА ГОДА» «LE STAGIONI») è stato fondato dal direttore dell’Orchestra da Camera «Времена года» Vladislàv Bulàkhov (Владислав Булахов). Questo Festival è chiamato «peregrinato» perché comincia sempre in autunno a Mosca, in inverno passa a San Pietroburgo, in primavera a Nizhnij Novgorod e in estate a Krasnodar e Soci.
Quest’anno (2008) si svolge il settimo Festival «VREMENA GODA» ed è dedicato alla musica spagnola in Russia. Il programma del primo concerto ha unito le composizioni dei compositori dal XVIII al XXI secolo. Della prima del concerto è stata l’opera musicale del compositore di Mosca Mikhail Bronner. L’opera «La Musica d’Estate» («Летняя Музыка») è scritta sulle poesie per bambini di Josif Brodskij. Oltre all’opera di Mikhail Bronner il festival si è aperto con «La musica notturna di Madrid» di Luigi Boccerini e «Rondo» di Efrem Podgajtz.

Kubàn (Southern Russia) is hosting the 8th INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL «THE SEASONS». Its theme this year is «Music of Poland and Russia». It began with a joint concert of the Moscow Chamber Orchestra «The Seasons» and the young talents of Kuban. Krasnodar Philharmonic witnessed performances of compositions by Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Bronner, Spiridonov, and other great composers. Since 2002, the festival is held annually in major Russian cities, reviving the tradition of touring the country and unveiling new names. The festival concerts will include performances of outstanding musicians from the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France and other countries. According to the organizers, over the eight years of its existence, the festival has become a notable event of Russia’s cultural scene.
